Shamanism is an ancient healing art. Today it is used to describe healers from many different cultures who journey outside of time and space to treat illness.
Shamans believe there are four major causes of illness: power loss, intrusion, soul loss and possession. Power loss refers to the loss of a helping spirit that joins us at birth and helps us throughout our lives. Intrusion is the appearance in the body of energy that does not belong. Soul loss may occur during a traumatic event such as an accident, surgery or death of a loved one. Possession is an unwelcome spirit in our energy field.
Contemporary Shamans use spiritual light as a healing tool.
I begin each session with rituals such as lighting a candle, burning incense and drumming. The sound of the drumming takes me on a journey in which I connect to my helping spirits and ask them for information or healing that is important for you. After the journey I explain to you what I have seen and learned.
